THE BALLOONS

Once upon a time in a classroom, a wise teacher had a playful lesson about happiness. She brought in balloons and asked each student to blow one up and write their name on it. Excitement filled the air as the children tossed their balloons into the hall, creating a colorful mix.

The teacher then stirred things up, shuffling the balloons so no one could find their own. The challenge began: the kids had five minutes to locate the balloon with their name on it. Despite frantic searching, no one succeeded in finding their own balloon.

Changing the game, the teacher suggested a different approach. She told the children to grab the balloon closest to them and give it to the person whose name was on it. Surprisingly, in less than two minutes, everyone held their own balloon.

Gathering the children, the teacher shared a valuable lesson: “These balloons are like happiness. We won’t find it when we’re only searching for our own. But if we care about someone else’s happiness… it will ultimately help us find our own.”

The simple yet profound lesson left a lasting impression on the children. They realized that by caring for others and sharing happiness, they could create a positive and joyful atmosphere for everyone. The colorful balloons became a symbol of the interconnectedness of happiness, reminding the students that sometimes, by helping others find joy, we discover it for ourselves.
